Where is the farmer?

A few nights ago Derek wanted to take us girls and show us something on the farm. As we were driving there we must have been talking about 'the farm' and Evelyn asked us, 'where are the farm animals?' There are some horses in the corals right now so we told her we can go look at them. Then she asked, 'where is the farmer?' Derek and I looked at each other and told her that daddy is the farmer. She looked confused and said, 'No, where is the FARMER?' As if we'd mis-heard her. I still don't know if she knows that daddy is a farmer, or that you can be a farmer without having a cow, pig, duck, rabbit, etc.
We rode with Derek in the tractor today, and it was so fun. I could ride with him all day, I love it. Especially when I'm not pregnant (I'm not). So I'm all excited about spring planting and all that fun stuff. Proud to Farm!

9 Months/Easter Dresses

I am just obsessed with these two. I found out a few weeks ago what seeing them in matching dresses does to me. I couldn't stop looking at them and laughing with delight every time I saw their cute little bodies in matching dresses. It is definately something I've always looked forward to, but I couldn't find a reason to get them matching dressed until recently. Plus, they didn't make baby sizes to match toddler sizes any time I looked. The point is that I practically gush over them when they match. I just LOVE LOVE LOVE it. Lady Gaga.
Even though Gwen has bed head in this picture, I love it because she makes this face a lot where she'll lift up her cheeks to squint her eyes.

Nine month picture, she looks like she's ready to walk out of that chair.

Isn't this precious?? Sweet, sweet, sisters, just love to be close to each other. Ha ha, ya right. You can't even see that they're matching. You'll just have to take my word for it.

EASTER!

Easter was so much fun this year, we were so busy the whole weekend and it was tons of fun for all of us. Here is a cutie picture of the girls with some eggs.

Whats Up.

I just put a bunch of pics on the computer and chose my favorites in no particular order. I'm so spontaneous.
Here is little sister, after bath time. She will snuggle and it's the cutest.
Here is a pic of out last trip to the cabin. As you can see, there was not much snow and the driveway was muddy. That machine in the background is my favorite. I guess I should say that this is me and Evelyn.

Derek may not appreciate that I put this pic of him on here, but I mostly wanted to show that I took this picture. Mid flight, yes, I can capture that. Please.
We went to West Yellowstone for a/The Snowmobile Expo. This is how Gwen and I were dressed for the occasion. She rocked. It does NOT get cuter than this. PS-Derek wore this hat when he was a baby, so pretty much this could be a picture of me with my husband in the front pack. If you know me, you'll think that's funny.
Saw this happening when we were leaving the cabin (which you can see on the right), Derek got out to check something and Ev was peeking at him. I wish you could see the mountains through the open window because it was BEAUTIFUL!
Enjoy.

The Hole In Dereks Face (Beware)

Last week Derek was at work and was grinding some metal and the grinder caught on something and kicked back and hit him in the face. He went to Insta-Care and they sent him to the ER to see a plastic surgeon. They took him in to surgery at about 7pm and put him out while they cut away all the mangled skin and sewed him up.

This first picture is of his face while at the hospital. We didn't get a really good picture of it, it just kind of seemed like a bad moment to take a picture, ya know? Anyway, to be fair, it looked much worse than this.
This is of him in his room after his surgery.
He looks much better now, and he's feeling better, too. Just thought I should share this beautiful new future scar.

Snow-Mo-Building

This winter has been so fun for my little family. Evelyn and I have really come to appreciate snowmobiling, or snow-mo-building. Ecstatic... that pretty much sums up how Derek feels about that. Evelyn isn't as good as me yet, but she's getting there. She is always asking daddy if we can go to 'her cabin' and ride 'her snow-mo-building.' We haven't been to the cabin for a couple weeks so Derek took her out to ride in the field by the shop.

Here they are, all ready to go. They are especially excited to be wearing matching BYU hats.
Down by the shop... where the watermelons grow... back to my home... Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

More of The Same

Gwen is 8 months. She is cute.
Sisters. Cute.
