Evelyn has been interested in favorites lately. So when we've been reading I've been pointing out my favorite color, easter egg, shoes, etc. The other day we were driving down the road and stopped at a light. I hear her shout from the backseat, "Mommy, that's my favorite." I turn and look and she's pointing to the Flying J Gas Station.
"That Flying J store is your favorite?" I ask.
"Yep" She says very matter-of-factly.
Scary.

House For Rent
Derek and I have a rental house that just became available. It's located in the Osgood area, and Derek and I lived there before we moved into our current house. It has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a mud room/laundry room, a one car garage, and a large living room area. The Master Bedroom has a walk -in closet, and the Master Bathroom has a jacuzzi tub. It also has a large back patio and it's located on a big beautiful lot with trees, a garden, flowers, and a awesome raspberry patch (one of the things that I miss the most). We're asking $600/per month plus a $500 deposit.

(Actual house may vary in size and appearance.)

love Love LOVE
Every time I post on my blog all I want to do is write about how much I love someone or something. I'm always stopping myself from typing, 'I love Love LOVE this/him/her!' Well, now that my blog title is changed, it's just fair warning that I'm not going to be stopping myself. So, without further ado, one of my favorite loves:
My mouth is watering right now, and I'm way bummed because I went grocery shopping today, and therefore, won't be going to the grocery store until next Wednesday and by then I will have convinced myself that I shouldn't buy them.
I could eat these exclusively. And if you know me, you know I am not the exclusive type. I mean, I had to be engaged to be exclusive with Derek(actually once he got home from his mission, I was not interested in anyone else and would have vowed exclusivity). Sounds deep, right? Well, it is. I love Love LOVE these!

Halloween 2009
Trick-or-Treating is so much fun! I had so much fun last night with Evelyn. She was a cute little witch. I made her costume and it turned out HUGE, but it worked well because it was cold and so her coat fit underneath her dress. I planned that...
Here she is all ready to go, I love this picture.
Her and cousin Faye. She loves Fayes guts and always talks about hugging her.

ESPN College Game Day
Big News! We were at College Game Day this last weekend! What? You don't know what the heck that is? Well, I didn't either before this.
We've been planning our annual 'Go To A BYU Game' shin-dig and decided to go to last weeks game. The ESPN football guys travel to one college football game every Saturday and chose the BYU game last week. Derek was excited and I didn't really know what that meant. So we wake up early Saturday morning and drive to Provo (we left Ev at Melanies and had Gwen with us). It was like a concert going on, it was crazy! Hundreds of tents where people slept so they could be up front, huge speakers and lights, security, crazy fans for all sorts of teams, and lots of moms with babies, haha. I told Derek on the way there that I was going to feel dumb with Gwen in my pack, and he assured me that I wouldn't be the only one, he was right and it was hilarious. Some parents were throwing their children in front of the cameras just to get them on TV, excuse me, ESPN. Now I don't know much about all this but I do know who Kirk Herbstreit is, I've got a big TV crush on him and Derek doesn't seem to mind.
Here's Derek conversing with them, they seemed to really like his opinion on things. Just ignore the security guy who wouldn't move. The stage! Unlike a regular concert, the people on the stage had there backs to us. My man Kirk is on the left here. Yow-za!
Pumpkin Eaters 2009
What's up blogging community? Happy soon-to-be Halloween! We carved pumpkins last week and it was a hoot. Evelyn had lots of fun and was only hesitant about the slime for a minute or two.
This is one of those pictures that I just LOVE! Every now and again I get one of these. It was freezing outside, but had to get a pic of the girls. Gwen is making her inquisitive face because her eyes are huge!

3 Months
Wow, what an original Post Title. If you haven't guessed, Gwen is 3 months old. She is now sleeping through the night (10 hours-can't wait for 12)! I almost wrote that sentence without an exclamation point, what was I thinking? Time has so much more meaning when I'm pregnant or have a new baby. One month is a large chunk of time.
I've considered that the title of our blog is incorrect, it is me that is outnumbered. I live with Dereks clones. I am the odd one out. My little newborn tots look nothing like me. Gweners looks JUST like her daddy, and she's very happy about it. She still continues to smile at everyone and is very pleasant. She likes commotion, and is quiet when there is something going on, and loud when it's quiet.
Snuggling with daddy, in one of her favorite positions to be held. LOVE this. Especially wanted to show off her curly top. She's just starting to laugh, my snake fang fingers are tickling her.

Funnest Day Ever
It seems like since having kids, my life is full of "ah ha" moments. I couldn't figure out why adults didn't care as much about their birthdays once they had kids. Well, I quickly figured that out on Sunday. Evelyn had her second birthday. She was treated like a princess the whole day, we did everything she wanted to do. Watching her open her presents was more fun than I've had in a long time. I was thinking about what Christmas must be like when you have a few chillins. Sounds like fun. Here's a re-cap of the day.
We went to the river to feed the ducks, and she fell to sleep on the way. The rest of us hung out so she could nap a little. You can see Derek camped out there in the background. Evelyn is holding the bread. Gweners and Derek hanging out. (I think this would be better if Derek was wearing a wife-beater.)
The Fair Rocks
It was the best of times and it was the worst of times. You know what I mean. I was so excited for the fair this year. I'd sat out on so many amusement rides when I was pregnant that I was fully prepared to go at it full force. Unfortunately, the adult rides had some mile long lines. The kid rides, however, were rockin and rollin through the lines so I lived through Evelyn. She loved every minute of it.
This rollercoaster was the ride she seemed to enjoy the most. This picture makes me laugh so hard! She is having fun, contrary to what it looks like.
Until next year, scone nuggets.

Gwens Big Day
Gwens blessing day was yesterday. We all had a lot of fun. Evelyn was hyper from the moment everyone showed up at Sacrament Meeting, until 10 pm last night when she went to bed (no nap involved). And Gwen was a happy smiley baby all day long as well.
We love our family so much! Daddy and little sister.
Happy 27th Birthday Derek!
Our little family celebrated Dereks birthday this week. Derek turned 27! This was the eleventh time I've bought him a birthday present. The majority of his presents are BYU stuff, and it's a good thing too because BYU won their first game of the season last Saturday. They beat #3 Oklahoma and so Derek is now a very happy 27 year old.

Got Sunscreen?
Sometimes I know Evelyn is up to something and I just don't do anything about it because I'm getting something done. That sounds terrible. Yesterday was Dereks birthday and I was making his cake and cleaning the kitchen. I could hear her in the bathroom, and knew she was up to something, but I was on a roll. Welp, as I'm walking up the stairs to check on her I heard her say 'lotion' and assumed the worst. Thankfully, it wasn't too bad, she had unscrewed the top off her sunscreen and was applying it onto her entire body. One area that received the most attention was her upper lip for some reason. I mostly thought this was funny because no harm was done, and the sunscreen smells really good.
