I've got a whole long list of expressions that I could use to explain how my life is right now. Most of them would knock the socks right off of some of you tender eared folks. So I'll just let my Post Title do the talking. Life is Good!!! Ahhh... most days as I'm getting in bed I think to myself, 'today rocked.' And if any of you are a Grumpy Gene out there, let me explain to you why my life is good and rocks. There was a recent Ensign article about Enduring Well, and a smart man (Derek) once told me something along the lines of, 'make a decision and be happy with it.' And in there somewhere else was, 'you choose how you feel, so choose to be happy.' And then there was something like, 'only focus on the good stuff, and lift it up, and don't re-live the crappy stuff.' And ya know what else? If someone gives you advice TAKE IT! And since you're still here reading, take my advice about taking advice-I'm struggling with folks who want advice but won't do it because it's not easy. You want your life to be better? Do it.
Where was I? Oh yes, my girls are growing and cute. I took this pic of Gwen recently because I LOVE when she sits like this. She does this all the time, and is one of her favorite positions. This picture I took about 20 minutes ago, which prompted me to post. If you look hard, you'll find a cute little two year old somewhere in there.

beautiful girls
oh I love the baby asleep in the mess. check my blog today. I cropped out the crumbs under the chairs among other things. Your mess is definitely more appropriate than mine.
And I love that there's a green tractor amidst the rubble too. :)
Life is freakin' good. I agree.
I love this post! I love your perspective. That's what a happy life is really all about. Finding the good--In your life, in others, and helping others find the good. It's easy to be negative. The challenge is to see the good and recognize how lucky you are. I think we all need this reminder when we are being "Grumpy Gene." haha
I love that little position. Gwenners looks like a baby chick! And I'm pretty sure Ryder has a picture just like the one of Evelyn. :D
I second that! Life is hard, but there is always a ton of good, love, and happiness. Thankfully I am out of my grumpy stage of my post baby time and I can see all the good. Life IS good! We miss you guys! Gwen is about the cutest thing I have ever seen!!! I love her hair, is it redish? We need to meet her soon!!!
I love it when they fall asleep in totally funny places. Your girls are so cute!!
