Congratulations to us!

We're so happy that Gwen is here! She is doing so well with everything, eating, sleeping, etc. She seems to have a very mellow easygoing personality.
I had an appointment on the 1st and was dilated to a four. My nurse-midwife, Susan, said that she'd be here within a day. I was excited, but tried not to get my hopes up just-in-case. Well my contractions slowly progressed throughout the day. By 9pm they were 5 min apart or less. By 1 am I was nauseous so we left for the hospital thinking she'd be out in an hour or two. I was only a six when we arrived! That was disappointing, oh well. So we did our thing for the next four hours. (Here's my shout-out to Hypno-Birthing that I would totally recommend to anyone!) She was born at 5:45 on July 2nd. The sun was rising, I couldn't believe that I was in labor all night! She's perfect!

Evelyn loves 'Ben' (that's what she calls Gwen) and loves to hold her and be rough with her. It's pretty hilarious what the second child goes through.
Love this pic.

Good luck to all pregnant women out there!

Congratulations! I wanted to see her when we saw you guys at Sam's Club, but Mason had had a little fever all day (though I think it was just teething) and so we didn't dare. She is beautiful though! How fun, two little girls! Glad everything went smooth!
