Walking Is Not For Sissies Part 2

What happens when your child's face collides with the wall? A fat lip, that's what.

After this latest collision I am on edge every time she teeters. After a few minutes, however, the bleeding stopped and an otter pop made her happy again. She keeps touching her lip expecting to find a piece of food instead of a fat lip. Now that it's all over I can't help but laugh because I think she looks like she has a little birds' beak. Poor baby.

Christi this is so sad! Poor baby! Its amazing that kids survive this stage in life. She is still so beautiful even with a bird beak. Is this the accident you were talking about on my voicemail? I updated my blog you should ck it out!

One more comment. I hope the red on her shirt is from the otter pop!

oh poor thing! Livee was sledding when she was about this same age and ran into something at Westside and got the biggest fat lip ever! It made me sad and laugh at the same time because it is funny looking but you know it has to hurt!

oh, just get used to it..if she is anything like our little neighbor girls there will be a lot more where that came from!!! My sister comforted me the other day (after I was devistated that Kason had fallen off our bed AGAIN!!) she said little ones are made to fall...their bone structure and flexibility and all....it is still so sad.

P.s. I love the fishing pictures. The whole story made me laugh because I can just imagine being there and seeing the whole thing unfold! I defintely have to show Mark your fish. At least Derek didn't make you kiss the fish. (Mark made me kiss my first fish on the fly rod... DISGUSTING!! I hate touching them too. I just won't do it.

Poor Lamby! It is hard to watch your kid get hurt. I think it puts into persceptive how Heavenly Father must feel about us! She sure looks cute though- I love the evidence of the otter pop. :) What a doll!
