Babyproofing

Derek and I have recently started to baby proof our house. Meaning, we have outlet covers in the outlets, and we are locking the cupboards. We're only locking the cupboards that are potentially dangerous to her like under the sink where we have soap and cleaner. Every other cupboard, bookshelf, plant, computer, electrical cord, etc. requires a 'no', then a squishy hand accompanied by a 'no', and finally, a new location. Only in the extreme cases does she get a swift kick in the pants. Just kidding, how could I even think of such a thing?


I posted some pictures of Evelyn in all sorts of places. Don't ask me how she crawled up onto the counter and into the bowl. I guess I wasn't paying much attention. Maybe we'll put her in the circus when she gets a little bigger.

Growing Baby

Evelyn is 10 months old now and hitting all sorts of mile markers lately. She recently learned to crawl and soon after that learned to stand up to things and cruise. She also just had her second tooth pop through. Babies are awesome. I couldn't ever imagine that Derek and I would love someone so much.
